Southwest Greens has recently celebrated a 15-year presence in the EMEA zone — a milestone we are pleased with. From a “cowboy” start of taking an artificial soccer grass field and labeling it a tee box to customized solutions that play and look like natural — much as changed.
At Southwest Greens, we begin developing with an eye on the final result. We strive to develop artificial putting green turf that has the same look and feel of traditional grass. The feel we are talking about is in terms of ball behavior — more specifically — bounce, aim, and roll.
Bounce, aim, and roll speaks of the underlying technology behind our artificial putting green turf products. We refer to this project as “Science Behind The Surface,” and we examine our synthetic grass against authentic turf using a playability assessment tool.
